how do u turn on the fog lights without turning on the lights?

i just took a piece of wire and spliced it into the cigarette lighter and spliced the other end into the power supply wire to the fog light switch.... basically just ran a constant power wire and spliced it into the switch...

that would work, also theres a site on line somewhere where they have a step by step for this mod, and they use the power from the convertible top harness..thats what i used

ill have to check quick for the link...but yea thats the point, if it was a vert then the harness would be used, with it being hardtop then that harness is still right next to the foglight harness, but it just doesnt hook up to a switch, meaning it just sits there..so its free game to use the power from that one..ill see if i can find that site
