4 cyl t5 tranny
#4
Says who? My 4 cylinder trans out of an 83 turbo coupe (non wc) lasted way longer then a v8 t5 I ever had. I powershifted the crap out of it, sprayed it with nitrous, and launched off the rev limiter for over 100 passes and couldn't kill it. My car went as fast as 11.90 at 115 with the trans no problem.
I had a t5z that blew apart after 300 street miles and 20 passes. I have 3 other t5's that are damaged internally after fewer then 50 passes. 3rd gear really seems to be what doesn't hold up.

It will be more dramatic then that. The only gear that stays the same is 4th gear. I had 4.10 gears and at the track I was in 3rd right at the 60ft mark.
