Default Wheel Spacers

i have heard a lot of people saying wheel spacers are hard on the lug studs... but does this style hurt your studs as well?

http://www.americanmuscle.com/1in-bi...l-spacers.html

i want to put in spacers on my car, but i don't want my wheel falling off, obviously.... but i dont see a problem with that design. It seems to me like your stock lugs will have a bolt on them just like before and be secured to the spacer, and the wheel will be secured to the spacer.

Would this be a reliable design to use? Thanks

Inner fender clearance and i love the look.

are those a good alternative to the longer studs and spacers? I dont want to have to replace my studs because the good APR ones are $8 per stud so that ends up being almost $100 just for 10 studs shipped, and tahts before the spacers.

i would definatly get the longer studs to go with those spacers. it may run some extra cash but its going to be the only right way of spacing them properly.

You can't. Those spacers are made to work w/ the factory studs. They can't stick out past the spacer otherwise you won't be able to mount the wheel flush.

Why is that?

I like in the video showing how to install the spacers they tell you they are using factory style wheels and tires but posted above the video is this...
Note: These Wheel Spacers are specifically made for aftermarket wheels and will NOT fit factory wheels.

Nice contradiction on their part.
