Need Help with front suspension

Hi my name is Toby I live in austin texas, and I recently Bought a 93 cobra off a guy. When we got the car we knew it had been sitting it his front yard for a few years, and we knew the rear shocks were crap. Turns out the whole brake system and tranny are bad too. And the wheels are corroded, and the tires are bald. So we get new replica wheels. the 17x8.5 Which is what he had on the car anyways. The front tires are goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 245/45/zr17 and the rear are 275/40/zr17. The problem is, i get new brake rotors all around, and I get new calipers, and I replace the rear shocks. We put it all back down on the ground, and now the tires are rubbing. We go and look at the car and it just looks slammed down. The part rubbing is the outside part of the fender is rubbing the outside of the front tires. I wana know what you guys think is up. Has this guy cut the springs in the front, and do i need to find new springs. or is there something else up with my setup?

alright so i think that the struts are ok, and a shop here says it sounds like springs were cut. Hey i think i will buy some struts cause i could use some new struts to match new rear shocks. we will see what it does. Anybody else have any ideas?

also I think the problem on my tranny might be the shifter. It only has trouble getting into second. We got it in once. Every gear otherwise is fine by me. Maybe it gets a little angry moving back into first while moving but thats it. Do you think its a syncro or a shifter doing this? anybody with experience working on a t5 would help with alot of questions i have.

yeah i knew the front tires had to be right cause thats what came stock. Well i am gonna invest in some eibach springs and maybe some bilstien struts up front we will see what that does for me.
