Exclamation rockers

Hey guys,
I talked to my engine guy and I guess the stock roller rockers on the 94 gt heads are "non-adjustable"? So, looks like I probably need to rockers.... can I get some 1.7 rockers that will fit on the stock heads that can later be swapped onto aluminum heads? I am totally in the dark (unknowledgable) when it comes to rockers.... help guys....

It's for a 331 stroker and I am on a budget but I want to get it done right the first time! And no... I have NO money for different heads to put on at this time.

THanks all

see if you can snag some off ebay for 100 bucks or so. you'll want pedestal mount rockers if they are on stock heads. the 1.7's will have extra lift....dont know what pistons you used or the clearance you're workin with so it might be safe to clay your pistons to check PTV. but i've never messed with a stroked motor and i dont know what your bottom end set up is so thats why i'd clay for PTV clearance.

i know that all stock valve train will work on pedestal mount AFR's, so i would buy some crane 1.7 cobra rockers and eventually when you can afford better heads you can just swap everything right over.

it depends on which heads you get, the stock head require a pedistol mounted rocker, while alot of aftermarket aluminum's require stud mounted roller rockers.

those are stud mounted rockers so they wont work on your stock heads.

Ya... ok... so what you all think I should do? I can't afford new heads or anything yet but can you suggest something for me? I want something that can swap over to some aluminum AFR's but if that's no possible can you suggest something to get me by on the stock heads?

i just googled this really quick to show you but, you can swap over your rollers as long as the new heads you buy say they are pedistol mount.
