Water pump replacement
#12
Think about what you have invested and then decided if you really want to gamble it on a rebuilt pump. If you have a stock engine I wouldn't go any cheaper that a brand new water pump from NAPA. Only a few dollars more than a rebuilt pump. I run Edelbrock Victor Mecanical pumps on all my performance builds that will use a mechanical pump. Whoever told you a high flow pump was junk is an idiot. They keep air pockets from forming that create hot spots that will ruin your engine.

.........I have a friend with a high flow edelbrock and it has worked flawlessly......as for the OP I run a new..not reman one on my 92 from napa and works great, I got tired of the cheap 25 dolla' reman ones leaking out the weep hole after a few weeks
