Installing Lowering Springs
Hey guys,
I recently purchased some eibach pro-kit springs. I read the thread about installing the front springs and I think I have the idea of the fronts. Just wodndering what installing the rear springs entails. I have read to jack the car up, put a jack under the rear end and undo the struts and lower it down slowly and remove the springs. I dont know if that makes sense or not, can someone please provide me with some wisdom?
Thanks.

I just recently installed Ford Racing C Springs into my 1990 convertible, it was my first time doing any suspension like this and all in all it was pretty easy. On the rear the worst part i can remember was the bolts going through the bushings were all rusted together and it was a pain to get them out, but yea the springs on the rear will just fall right out no need to worry about that at all.
The fronts also were'nt to bad, i went off the guide on this site for the most part but when i went to reinstall the springs i changed the ball joints, put the A-arm back in, then reconnected the tie-rod/ball joint, then bolted the 2 bolts for the shock.(note i also installed new shocks not all them steps may be necissary)
My C Springs were able to just fit right into the top and bottom perch with the shocks not bolted, then i would just jack the A-arm up while making sure the spring was seating in the pocket right then bolt down the shock up top and then lower the jack and your pretty much done.
Hardest part for me on the fronts was removing the shock bolts and removing the old shock nut from the bracket.
Fairly easy went pretty good for my 1st install on front and back GL

Thanks for the input guys. I thought there was much more to doing the springs. Now I am not so intimidated by the job and will stop procrastinating and do the job. If I run into any trouble, I know where to come!
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
