Upper/lower 5.0 intake manifold from Mercury Mountaineer?

I need help on this, I am inquiring on a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 upper/lower (GT-40)Intake manifold with 70mm Throttle body.
Will this fit a 1994 Mustang GT (5.0) without any problems? the person that I am trying to buy it from wants $400 and this includes shipping.
Thanks guys.

it should only have the 65mm. and its the GT40E intake. its the same as the one i got which is the explorer one. also you may have hood clearance issues but it iwll work

I use a truck lower
besides he doesn't have enough mods to see any difference in the 2 intakes

GT40E,cobra and Gt40 all are the same lowers except that a GT40E doesnt have the two holes for the ACT or coolant return. besides that its the same.

the gt40e is a good intake for mid range power. it can be made to have nice topend when opend up just a little bit

wow 400 dollars that guy is crazy! Well I got a hell of a deal on mine, I got an actual 93 cobra lower so it already has the holes I need and a 98 explorer upper and I payed 75 bucks for both! But I got a really good deal. You can find an ok explorer upper and lower for about 225 and have it cleaned powder coated and ported for cheaper then the other guy wants for just the intakes.

I got the explorer intake in excellent condition for $120.00 upper/lower.
It took a while but, $400 is 2 much.

yup, I got mine really cheap cause the guy who had it had it on the floor of a shop he worked at cause he changed intakes and just wanted it gone, now i havnt put it on yet but I hear since I have a 93 lower I should port match the top to it cause the explorer top is a little smaller. Anyone know if thats true?
