Default 5.0 stock intake spacer..

I bought ford racing valve covers and on the description it said i needed to to a modification to the stock intake to fit...so i bought a 3/8 intake spacer and put it on there...well it still hits so i need a 1" intake spacer for a stock intake...does anyone know where i can get a spacer that big i keep lookin all over the internet with no luck..

im pretty sure you can only get 3/8" spacer online. ive never seen 1" for the stock intake.

double the spacer.....would that not create an easy spot for a vacuum leak

i wouldnt think so if you put a gasket between them and the top and bottom. Never heard of anyone doing this but it should work.

i have a 1 inch spacer, but its for my trick flow track heat intake, they do make em..

I don't think it will. My new engine isn't in the car yet, but from everything I've read, once you throw in a spacer you'll need a cowl hood.

As it was put to me:
roller rockers = taller valve covers = intake spacer = cowl hood
