Angry 1989 gt charging problems

i have an 89 gt that will not hold a charge
i replaced the battery the alternator that has a voltage regulator built in
starter, starter relay and selanoid
i can jump it off and then 30 minutes later it is dead
i replaced the pigtails on the alternator also and still nothing
do u think i need a bigger alternator
it has gt 40 heads
e 303 cam
underdrive pulleys



someone please help me this car needs to run

How many volt is the alternator putting out. Just because it is new doesn't mean it cant be bad. I have seen some mustangs with underdrive pulleys not charge very well.

Did you check the alt wires after the pig tail? You might have a bad wire it happens once in a blue moon but it does happen.

check the volts coming out of the alt., then check the volts at the selonoid, with the batt unhooked, there shouldnt be a big diffrence

thats what i would try, hopefully it dont die, but if it does it narrows it down that much more lol
