Default AOD to T-5

What parts are required for a AOD to T-5 conversion? And what cars have the t-5 that can be swapped into the 84 gt350?

Thank you.

Im looking to do this swap too, would like to know.

Would i have to cut the trans tunnel to let the shifter come up?
Can i use the same AOD ECM?
Will my AOD drive shaft be ok?
Can i still use my AOD crossmember?
Is the trans mount different?
Speedometer cable same?

The pedal assembly will be a pain in the *** but i figured out that part.

A t-5 of course not any newer than a 93
Bellhousing
flywheel
clutch kit
clutch cable and quadrant
pedal
and maybe a crossmember
If you plan on racing a recommend a billet steel flywheel and a blowproof bellhousing because at high rpm's you clutch or flywheel can explode and it could possibly cut your toes off.
Here is a chart that compares t-5 with the gear ratios, torque ratings, and input shaft lenghts. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/349.shtml

The manual had a little more of an agressive tune if you can even call it that.

you can use the SAME driveshaft and yoke.

this website http://www.promotionpowertrain.com/1691136.html

they have a list of parts, and sell them all.
really GREAT company to work with, and thats where ill be buying my transmission from most likely.

you do NOT need a new computer, but some computers go crazy and have issues.
so its possible that you will need a new computer, but highly unlikely.

if you plan on rebuilding your tranny, heres a good website article.

i also ordered a DVD from this guy.
badshoeproductions.com

good luck.
