Default Once again need help on what cam to get with new upgrades

Here is what I have so far, gt40 heads with 1.6 roller rockers, lightly ported. Cobra upper and lower intake, 24lb injectors and mass air. Now it is time to buy a cam, I have no idea what I am looking for in this area. Looking for a good street, mid rpm range for power band I dont relally wind it out that much. Running 5 lbs of boost. Any suggestions with this set up. Buying one piece at a time for late spring rebuild.
Thanks
mat

most everyone here will suggest a custom grind cam.

Flow Tech Induction
Cam Motion
Comp Cams has a custom grind program also

My first concern is , do you have flat top pistons?

If so, a custom camshaft is a must, unless you wanna swap or notch the pistons.

With such low boost Comp Cams XE258HR. Will make really nice low end power right up to 6000 rpm and will work great with 3:55 gears.

I will be either notching the pistons or getting new ones when I do my engine rebuild. Once disassembled and everything is measured I will make my decision.

Already have new double valve spring on heads. I dont really want to get a custom cam, trying to keep the cost of everything within reason. I have heard the ford cams arent really that great, is this true? I would like to stay around 200 bucks for a cam.

There is nothing wrong with the ford cams if your engine is built around it. The cams were designed and ground by Crane. They are a little on the generic side but the cam quality is fine. The only cam I know of for 200 dollars or less is a Trick Flow Cam that is also ground by Crane but none of those is really suited to your needs. Call Comp Cams Cam Help Line and have them help you pick out a cam. Still going to run you 260 dollars. Your valve springs may not be compatible with the cam. In a case such as this I'd save up some money and buy a full kit with matching springs, retainers, locks, seal, timing chain and cam. Unless you know what springs you have and the coil bind and such as that you could cause yourself some damage. Unless you are willing to make the sacrifice I'd leave well enough alone.
