Default ac compressor squeaking bad

my ac compressor just started making a horendous squeaking sound. i sprayed wd-40 on it which quieted it down for about 10 -15 minutes then right back. is there a bearing i can replace? or is there an ac delete kit? it hasn't worked for 10 yrs, and was too costly to convert over to r134 after the r12 was banned. any suggestions

ac delete kit just moves the power steering pump up to where the A.C. compressor was.

you wouldn't puck up any hp unless the compressor was engaged all the time. you would lose some weight and clean up the engine bay.

doing some research and there is a delete kit. now my new question is which kit is better..... the one that just has a pulley and using the stock length belt, or the one that has brackets to mount the ps pump where the ac was and use a shorter belt

I would go with the one that moves the ps pump and get a shorter belt, but that's just me. it would give it a clean look plus that one less moving part.

yeah the ford racing one would look better. Napa offers them for pretty much anything in case a compressor locks up on a junker and having to spend 1000 dollars you can buy the ac delete kit.
