I just had my mustang painted the mustang is all stock except for the exaust it has a 2 1/2 inch h-pipe and that is about it. I am a 15 year old guy and i cant get a job yet so i was wondering if some of you all have ideas on some easy mods that wont cost me mouch that i could do. i have a 89 stang with a 5.0

why can't you get a job? my sons started work at 15, 2 years later he still works there.. get ya a work permit and make some coin to build your car.... anyways

pull out the air silencer
use synthetic oil when you change it
remove all the wt in the car you can

no acually in order to get a job at 15 you can only work during the summer and on vacations i believe...so just work during the summer doing umm...lets see you can work at a super market(like me...oh god it sucks) or do some crap out in the fields

The first thing to do which will not cost you a penny is pull out the air silencer hidden inside tihe passenger side fender, replace the filter with a K&N which will not cost you alot.

also set your tps sensor to .98v. Man that sucks, I was 15 (i'm 16 now) and i worked 3 jobs during the summer. 12 hours a day for 5.00 an hour 5 days a week for all 3. I made some money, but not enough, had enough to buy my car and some other stuff and that's it. But I was running a ranch, and riding horses for two others.

Thats basically the most of the "cheap mods", but when you do get some money the first thing to probably look for is getting some new gears in that car right away.

you could cut the fender hole for the air box to the size of the hole of the air box and more air flow then a CAI
