what other type of transmission can i put in my mustang 5.0 instead of a t5 because ive been looking around in my local junkyards and nobody has an t5 for an 5.0 only for an 4cyl and if they do have one they want like 600-800. like in which type and year of mustangs can i find these

do you want to remain stick?? if not there are a few auto tranny choices.......try ebay for t-5's

yeah i want it to stay standard and on ebay they are also too much plus the shipping even used ones on ebay are expensive

how much are you looking to spend??? if it's only a few hundred then you'll get what you pay for.

about 250 i can really afford a new one right now so thats why im looking for an cheap used one

Whats wrong with yours??? You can rebuild it yourself for that price.

this is wats wrong with mine i noticed one of the gear is really messed up in the edge and in other pic this one has teeth chipped off and i dont know where and what kit to get where these are included

Well a rebuild kit does not included gears but they can be purchased in other places. That isn't that bad though. Did you notice anything while driving?

if its only chipped on the corner and there is no raised edge you should be fine tearing it apart to clean out any metal pieces and reassembling it.

yeah it would whine alot also would grind 1st and 2nd gear and when downshifting it would pop out of second gear and the whine got louder and louder and i had put royal purple in it and whine never went away
