Holy F'ing wrong!!!! the housings are the same. the only difference in the two would be two small holes that are drilled in the lower control arm mount, which one of the securing tabs for the rear brake line slips into.

But honestly, to give you a real good handle on this project, you ARE better off selling your v6, getting 2-3k for it... and taking the 4k you have now and buying a GT.

And dont give me the bull**** of "well, i cant find any GT's for $4000" .... BULL!!! I bought my cobra for $4k

I'm not saying I cant find a GT that would be no prob. BUT I'm 18 and insurance wise i cant afford a gt or cobra. the body and under carriage of my 6 are spotless. also those GTs of that year are way underpowered at 215. the only GT i said i couldnt get would be like 99-04 because they're 7-10k. I mean ive got the jist of this pretty good and the stuff. I'd just like the fun of the project and having a 300+hp V8 with my insurance saying its a V6.

I don't think V8 insurance would be that much my insurance is on my car is about the same as my Ranger. Just call your insurance company and ask them what it would be on a GT. You could take 3k and buy a nice 5.0 and sell your car and spend that money modding it but it your money you can do what ever you want. Also V6 with a V8 will not have the resale value of a GT.
