Sad thing is you can buy a reman shortblocks for about the same amount of cash as getting that machine work and new parts. Just gotta know where to look.

The thing with doing it yourself or having a mechanic do it is you know what you have.

haha yea.....alot of things going on with this motor just don't make any sense what so ever.....e7s and stock intake being on top of this fresh of a bottom end makes 0 sense to me......

Mainly I tore down this block to see exactly what did have....I planned to throw some bearings and rings, rehone the cylinders, all that good stuff.....but I'm not gonna mess with it being as fresh as it is. The reason it came out was cuz I had to put a front seal in the tranny and I figured I might as well take the engine out too and see what I had, throw those gt40s on it, freshen it up as needed......thats why seeing that fresh rebuild was a nice new years present

I'm hatin not being able to throw a gt40 or cobra intake on top.....but I can't find one in my budget.....maybe I can run across one cheap enough between now and when it goes back on
