EGR DELETE

I am installing Longtubes this weekend and want to get rid of all the egr crap. Whats the best way? Ive heard you can just leave the smog pump, pull all the lines off and plug the two holes in the back of each head ( which i currently have done). Will this work?? What do you guys think I should do with the egr and smog stuff? Thanks guys!

what you have done for the thermactor air system/smog will work fine as for EGR justunbolt it and buy a block off plate and unplug selonoid

make a plate that blocks the egr, if you have stock exhaust, cork off the lines in the midpipe, you can just take the lines off the smog pump, but you can remove it and get a shorter belt and reroute and that works great also.

Keep in mind if you remove the EGR without a tune it's going to throw your CEL.

If you want to egr is not work just unplug the vac line. The computer will delete its function and not throw a CEL. If you want to remove it then you have to do all kinds of other stuff including a tune or an egr simulator.
