Going 5 lug on my 90 LX street/strip. Few Q's for yall

So far I have the 94-95 curved spindles/hubs & 99 up PBR calipers, pads, rotors, brake lines. I'm about to order my 5 lug axles & drums soon. What other parts will I need to complete the swap correctly? Staying with drums in the rear for now.

...So far you have everything that you will need up front...Ranger drums in the rear...

dont waste your money on ordering the axles and drums, go down to the pull it yard and grab some for cheap!

If yo ustaying with drums in the rear, then you don't have much else to do. You may want to upgrade to a bigger master cylinder but it's your choice.

Got a 31 spline Explorer carrier & need axles that can take the abuse, so I definately will be ordering Moser, Strange, or Superior Axles

What's the master cylinder of choice? Brake booster too?

whats your hub bore in the front on the 94-95 spindles and hub? just make sure it matches your back, i believe ranger axles would have a smaller hub bore?

QuarterHorse00 01-06-2009 02:37 PM

I did ranger axles in the rear. I got a pair of 'em for 50 bones. I also did the SN95 spindles/hubs/calipers/rotors/hoses. I was in the whole thing for pretty cheap really.

quarter horse what size is your hub bore on the ranger axles and on the 94-95 spindles. Also what rims are you running?

Here's a site that goes into a lot of detail and explains the differences between the years on the SN95 spindles. Enjoy!

I never measured the bore and I'm waiting for my deep dish 10th anny Cobra's to show.
