Steering Rack In's-&-Out's
I just bought and installed a brand new Pump w/ hoses about 3,000 miles ago. I hit a curb, so I have to spend $210 on a rim, the price to mount/balance new tires that I already have, and get an alignment done. Well, since I need an alignment, I figured I should get the tie rods replaced....
Well, I guess I may as well get a new rack:
50resto offers these kits: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...nd-Pinion-Kits
They offer one kit with everything in it, which is nice if you wanna replace everything.
Also, what about the bushings? Offset or Non-offset?
If you go through NAPA to get all of these parts, after the core return, the price ends up being the same as 50resto... You'll get the brand REMANS, versus a brand TWR or FORD through 50resto....
But, if I could do it ALL over again, I guess I would of gone with the MANUAL steering rack.
But, at this point I gotta stick with power steering.

It's hard to say, I think its starting to leak recently and i have a feeling that it'll start to deteriorate soon...
I am lowered THAT or more actually... so i will need offset bushings, not the non-offset bushings then..
