evp is what you actually plug the wire into on the egr valve. the evp goes into the valve housing. its possible its being faulty. but if you dont have emissions i'd just delete the egr and block off the opening.

Congrats on getting car back and running!! It may be running rough but you will get that worked out soon enough. I just got my 92 running again after 9 years...now I am back in Iraq. Congrats on the car again and it looks good.

did you clear your codes and try again? if you dont have a vac leak and no emission then you just need to clear codes.
