Prostar skinnies and 13" cobra brakes sn95 spindles
for my 89 GT Vert, with UPR k member swap, ive got as set of 15x3.5" pro star skinnies with 1.75" BS, along with my cobra 13" brakes,i know people have cleared these with spacers, what size spacer are you guys using to clear the brakes, im swapping to 3" studs up front just need to know spacer size, only going to run them down the track then pull them off for ride home,
any help would be appreciated, ive looked on search and found anywhere form 3/8, 7/16, to 1" spacer thanks in advance

Here is an idea that I used on my 03 that had a Cobra brake up grade. Instead of installing a 3 inch stud which will ugly up your OEM wheels. This spacer will get you out without swapping lug studs and center the prostars where a regular spacer wont. These bolt up and then the wheel bolts to the spacer. It's a much better alternative to putting on a 1 inch spacer on 3 inch studs that won't ever be able to center themselves. Just a thought. Worked great for me.

I never had a problem but I never ran them on the street other than back and forth to the track. I know a good many guys running them on the back of SN-95 car to widen out the track. I ran a set of 2.5 inch spacers made by Corvette Brakes so I could run a set of late model Corvette wheels on my Early Camaro. They were approved for Auto X. I've seen lots of problems with regular spacers where they split and the wheels would come off. Like anything else proper installation is the key.

that is the truth man gotta install them correctly, i dont really care how the wheels look or what spacers i use i just know that i want it to be safe, im not going to run the skinnies on the street so not a problem there, thanks for the reply
