Default Tricks of the Trade

Actually, It's almost different for every car. You have to listen to the engine and trans, and pick a point, depending on age of clutch and other factors.I can do it on the GTO, its awesome, but I've never done it on the Stang, harder to hear stuff, gotta be really good. If your lightning on the clutch, you can almost get as fast as just ripping that baby down w/o clutch. So to answer your question, no.

why not just power shift.. will save you some wear if you hit your shift every time.. just dont miss it too badly or your tranny might make an abrupt exit. you are still putting in the clutch just not getting totaly off the gas so u dont rip the shifter out of the gear

Vfast, I've noticed your grammar getting pretty bad lately, in spite of your knowledge of mustangs. Granted, this isn't a language site, but, what are you trying to say here?

i believe vfast was referring to the "shift without putting the clutch in" for the "it".. and that would be encouraged by his buddy who needs some rebuilding bussiness.. allways glad to help
