Default timing -tps-idle adjustment???

ok maybe a stupid question i dont know ..
i read that idle adjustment is made with the throttle body i assume with the tps ???
whats the differance between setting the idle with the timing and the tps .. is there any connection ?? should the timing be set at a certain degree before the tps is set ? would it make a differance if the timing was at 12 or 14 when setting the tps ??
i apologize if i have no idea what im talking about lol.. in need of a lesson : o)

Base Idle Reset Procedure .... TPS is not adjustable, as long as it falls within the .5 - 1.19 vdc "no failure code generated" window...... it will work. LUK

Nope.... the idle will automatically be compensated back to its level via the Idle Air Control (IAC) actuator.
