Default 87 Mustang GT transmision and read end oil

hey, just wondering how much oil my 5spds transmision and rear end hold?

want to order royal purple but dont know how much I need

I usually order 3 qts it's just a little over 2 I believe??

its like 2.7 quarts or something the manual says iirc

5 speed trans uses 3.70 pints

8.8 rear 3.75 pints

right. make sure you get the right stuff for both.

you need hypoid or gear oil+friction modifier for the rear

dextronIII for the trans

I am putting Royal purple 75w90 for the rear

and Royal purple Synchromax for the trans

just wanted to know the right amounts, because this stuff aint cheap
