Default my car wont start!!!

ok. i got a 89 5.0 has a 94 5.0 motor in it..... Ran good took it out brought it home from a cruise.. Shut it off... Tried to start and nothing.. So they fuel preassure was low.. Ok its a bad fuel pump.. So i replaced it.. Started it and started RIGHT OFF THE BAT!! I was excited... Turned it off... Turned it back on and nothing wouldnt start .. Didnt even sound like it was going to start ... After letting it try to start for a good 30 seconds one time it did start right up. Sounded great ran great. And now it will not start AT ALL!! So i replaced the distributor & module.. No help!!! Now what do I do??? Is this a COMPUTER problem.. Im getting gas i can smell it real bad trying to start it a hundred times. Where should I go from here???

THANKS!

Default RE: my car wont start!!!

Does it start when it's cool? Sounds kinda like a coil breaking down when it gets hot. Other possibilities are a loose wire / dirty connection, or the computer. Had a problem like that on a 4.0L Explorer that turned out to be a loose wire in the plug that connected to the ignition module (total different configuration than the 5.0) and it took me around 6 to 8 months to find it. Even though that plug / wire configuration is different than the 5.0, a similar problem could occur with a loose wire.

try checking the starter solenoied or the battery cable that runs down to the starter. the voltage will drop here but too much of a voltage drop will not provide enough power to get ur motor cranking.
