Default Brake upgrade??

So I was talking to my buddy who is setting up his fox for track racing and he told me about a budget brake upgrade that should work well for what I'm plainng for my car. He said that the SVO calipers are the same thing as the crown vic calipers. If you try to buy the SVO calipers they cost 60 bucks a piece but the same caliper for a crown vic is only like 30-35 bucks each. Is it true that the crown vic calipers will mount up to the fox, and are they the same as the SVO calipers?

I got a set of 73mm calipers from a 91 Lincoln Mark VII. You can find them on ebay or Rock Auto. Easy mount up

How do you figure? They could just be more money because they are for an SVO and not a crown vic.
