Default Is there any difference between the original cobra intakes and the reproduction ones

Is there any quality differences between the original and the reproduction cobra intakes? I have a used upper and lower that was painted and needs a new plack on it but is otherwise in good shape. I am thinking about selling it an just buying a new reproduction one for the looks of it. It is the biggest focus point on the engine and I want it to look good and perform good also. Has anyone ever used a reproduction one or had any trouble with one?
thanks
mat

One thing I know is that the reproduction Cobra Intake's are made in China, at least that's what it said in big letters on the bottom of my upper intake. I don't know about the production ones however. Also, the casting is a bit rough. But overall it looked pretty good.

Yes, the FRPP was the one that I had and was indeed made in China.

So I should keep the original and repaint it and get a new upper plack for it. Does this sound like the better option??
