Default Couple more newby questions

I did a searcha and for some reason came up empty handed. I am sure there are some threads with this topic..but here is my though/question.

I read these (GT 40 cobra /40P Explorer heads) are pretty good add ons for budget builds..can a machinist work on these and improve them or should I slap them on as is with a bigger MAF/Throttle body and a Cobra intake, good exhaust and roll?

Also on a 95 how much can be done with a chip or computer tuner?

You may want to have them checked to make sure they are good and if they are I would put them on. I really don't think that any of the factory heads are worth spending money on. By the time you have buy springs, guides etc, are well on the way to a set of aftermarket heads.

don't invest more than 500.00 in gt-40 heads, otherwise it's not worth it Imo
