Default Smog delete question

I put a smog delete on my car and since I disconected the pump, exhaust gases just go out into the open under the hood and it sounds like a big exhaust leak because of it. Is there some block off for the smog pump lines?

I think you have to remove that hose from the H-pipe, then plug the little tube off of the h-pipe with something like a bolt. If its the same thing I'm thinking of, I just used one of my dads old O2 sensors with some high temp goop on it Plugged the sucker right up. I hope that made sense, and I'm talking about the right thing .

yes you need to take the lines off but i wouldnt put something in it the whole on the pipe thats half-*** cut the line off and weld it up or take it to an exhaust shop they will probably charge 5 bucks to weld it up and in my opinion take the smog pump delete kit back off and just bypass the pulley shorter belt, less pulleys = better

Now I get ya. You need to remove the hoses and all that jazz from the engine. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/techarticles/Smog2.pdf <<< try to copy and paste that into your search bar. It's for a 94-95 Mustang, but it shows what hoses and where they are. I think you need to remove the hose(s) going into the back of the heads, and stuff some bolts in em' (like mine). Hope that link works/helps ya out.

You have to remove the tubes going to the back of the heads which is tough because there's limited space, that the threaded side of the tubes that went into the heads with you to a parts store or lowes, home depot ect and get the right bolts to plug the holes.

Take the delete pully off, wrap a piece of string around your pullies just as if it was the belt, mark and cut then take that with you to the local auto parts store, go through a few belts until you find the right size.
