clutch pedal removal
#2
im not 100% on your 86 but on my 88 yes i can just unbolt it, get up under the dash and see if it has a nut right next to the clutch pedal where it attaches, if it does your in luck, take the nut off and remove the pedal.

Yes it unbolts with the brake assembly. What wrench was saying is that if you are removing the pedals to go from stick to auto you have to rewire or bypass the clutch switch. Otherwise you won't be able to start the car because the clutch hasn't been pushed in....bc it isn't there.

ahhh i see. i'm removing the clutch pedal so i can cut it and splice a spacer into it to move it to the left away from the brake pedal. i normally drive barefoot, but not in winter, and my big clown feet with shoes on i clip the brake pedal when pushing in clutch
