Did it do it before or after the mods? Have you checked for codes?

Default idle relearn

Ford (Iac) idle air bypass valves are notorious for going bad. I would start with replacing that if u already havent. and the next step is to do a correct idle relearn procedure wich u have to do any time the idle air controller is unpluggd wich if u changd ur throttle body then u had to disconnect it.

depending on what cam u r running u need to adjust ur throttle position sensor also wich includes boreing out ur tps screw holes on the sensor itself with a simple power drill but u most use the correct size bit.
Ford Racing Tech-Line will fax u step by step procedure for the idle relearn and will give u an exact tps voltage setting depending on what camshaft u have.

Ford Racing Techline# 800-367-3788 Ask For RAY he nows them engines very well. hope that helps and let me know how that helps

Ur going to need to adjust ur idle set screw also to bring ur idle speed up. mines set at 900 rpms with a B-camshaft and is ur MAF calibrated to ur injectors. B careful cleaning ur MAF they r very easy to ruin with the wrong cleaner.

how would i calibrate my MAF to my injectors? I took my iac out and cleaned it really good. its seems to have helped but for some reason when i stop the car at a stop sign or something it takes like 5 secs for it to idle down.

thats exactly what mine does. i was told that was normal (something to do with the computer so that it doesn't die). Up your idle to 900-950 and check the fuel pressure.

YOu can't calibrate the MAF unless its a C&L and you have to get the proper tube. THe maf you have should be calibrated for the injectors you have. There usually marked on the MAF itself, mine is etched in to mine that says 24's

Do exactly what was stated in previous post. clean the iac, mess with fuel pressure, reset base idle, and check tps and so on. my problem i had was the wrong plugs in, they were too short (i lossed intructions and just winged it). i guarentee you'll fix it if you follow the steps.

like i said my idle still rolls when you intially start it (not bad) and on imeddiate cutoffs and restarts, but never dies and evens-out pretty quick.
