port heads of buy bigger

best 20 degree cylinder head on the market is a hi port period. Dont care about marketing hype blah blah, proven time and time again, the hi port is where there is power to be unleashed. Spending another 800-1000 on a vic jr head is money not spent wise, but that small jump from a 408 to a 427 is negligible. Run what you got, and find hidden et, such as the driver and suspension. Everyone looks under the hood, leave the hood shut

Clean up your Vic Jr's just a little and save your money. You already have a good set of heads and a little work and they flow really well. They flow about 290cfm @ .600 right out of the box. My Ported Victor Jrs flow 325 @.600 flow at low lift is great as well. I really like the AFR 225's and for an out of the box head it's superior to anything I've had on my superflow 600. I've never had a set of the High Ports in my shop but I hear good things about them.
