hey im new to the mustang forum, but i have a 91 5.0 and i kno the heads on these really arnt promising to new modifications you do. so i was wondering if porting would be a a nice treatment and how much does that usaully run. and what else would i have to do? tune wise? and whats a nice cam with stock internals without upgrading vacuum and everything? Thanks

I would not spend the money on those having those heads ported. Save the money and buy a set of aftermarket heads.

I don't know what you have done to the car but you could buy some bolts on's instead.

I agree not worht the time and money on those heads. I would either get gt40's like 1988ttop said or buy a set of aftermarket heads you can get a decent set of heads aluminum starting around 700 or so and go from there alot of them are ready to go at that price ready to bolt on and go play.

ok. any cam suggestions mild idle on stock internals no vacuum mods, i want torque and power around 1600 and 6000

no tune needed for h/c/i, just a well thought out one.
