Default NEED HELP!!!

ok guys i think i know the answer to this but just want to clarify...

what will cause you to seel oil pressure at the gauge, but not be getting oil to the valve train.... rockers, etc????

i got everything lined up and started my car up today with the new engine in and it was rattling like hell.. i thought that maybe the valves needed adjusting so i pull the intake and passenger side valve cover and im seeing no oil.....

you need to prime it to make make sure it will flow up the pushrods and lube your valve train before you start it.

im thinking its the cam bearings.... maybe got installed upside down.....

when you were priming it did you watch oil come out of all the pushrods? you have to prime it until it comes out of all the pushrods.

yup fixed the problem... runs ok... needs a tune badly!!! coming soon... the trans was already in the car when i bought it... big selling point on the car!!! the engine is just a freshened up 302 with arp hardware, svo heads, steeda #19 cam, 1.72 roller rockers, typhoon intake, full exhaust..... nothing too special hoping to see about 300 rwhp after a tune... feels a lot stronger then the stock engine and right now the timing is pulled waaay down around 8 base so... around 14 base and it should help a lot!!
