you need a maf, conversion harness and stock ecu for a maf car such as A9L A9P.

I found a ford racing conversion kit for about $795, anybody no of a better deal besides do it yourself at a junk yard? found it at year one.

I'm running a 190lph pump and 30# injectors with an AFPR.

You can get a conversion harness from eBay for like $40 or something. I did this and then bought the othe rpieces to complete the conversion, ie; ECU, MAF, etc. It does require some soldering and pin swapping but it's not that difficult if you're mechanical. That conversion harness will come with instructions and a wiring diagram.

thanks, are the mass air flow sensor and the mass air meter the same thing? I've also read about needing to do something to the cruise control and wiring in the fuel pump relay to the plug on the computer. Any truth to this or is it nessesary on my 86 GT? Thanks for the help, want it to be perfect.
