Questions about BBK shorties install?
Hey guys, I will be installing some BBK shorties Sat on my 88 GT. My questions are:
1. What will I have to remove to get them out?
2. Are the gaskets that BBK provided good enough or should I go aftermarket?
3. I'm sure the header bolts will be nice and rust-stuck, any pointers for getting these things broke loose?
Also, will be installing BBK O/R H-pipe, American Thunder Flos with 40 mufflers. If anybody is interested I will post a short video with sound.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Questions about BBK shorties install?
basicly what he said pretty much explains it all. the gaskets that come with these headers are good enough so dont bother buying new ones. if u got aluminum heads, use anti sieze on the bolts but if not then dont worry about it

Get a can of PB Blaster spray from the auto store for those stuck bolts. It works wonders. Make sure you have an 02 sensor socket handy or a wrench big enough to fit around the head of the sensor.

Horse power robbing devices put in your car that also add weight. I'm not sure on the whole set up on it, my smogpump was disconnected when I bought the car, but there should be some metal tubes comming from teh back of the engine and going to the smogpump (lower left of the serpentine belt), so if you want to take those out, might as well now, it will give you a little extra space too.
