if you order a timing chain make sure it has numerous adjustable key way sprockets in case you need to advance or retard the cam, as far as rockers go, I'd go with the comp pro magnum ones, 1.6, I assume you are stud mount 3/8's??? I upgraded to 7/16's

I looked up the promagnums and they dont look the same as the scorpions, the scorpians look more heavy duty. Is there a differance between them performance wise?

promagnums are steel and lighter over the tip than the scorpions which is what you want, trust me the promagnums are better

Im going to buy them today, I have the shortblock the the heads w/ the 7/16ths studs and the cam, do i need anything special to install the cam into the shortblock?. I know i need:

A timing chain (what do you recommend?)
the RR's
Gasket set (felpro)

To start the degreeing process.

Is there anything else you can think of?

Thanks for your help,
Bob
