Default h/c/i build-up soon

i finally have the funds for a h/c/i combo. so far i have a pretty much stock motor with the exception of a large throttle body and mass air meter with a tuned cai.

my budget is $2k my best option looks like this topend kit by LRS
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...%201&source=sc
Kit Includes:

Professional Products Typhoon EFI intake
Patriot Performance Freedom series heads
1.6 stud mount roller rockers
Timing Chain
Head Bolts
TFS Stage 1 cam
Gasket Kit

i found a set of 24lb injectors for $65 and i have a 255lph fuel pump

can i get away with not buying new pushrods and tearing too far internally into the motor? ill be doing all the work myself. also wondering if i need to buy anything to switch over to the stud roller rockers

While you are in there you should throw in a set of hardend pushrods, then all of your valvetrain will be new.

you absolutley have to change the pushrods. Especially if your doing a cam and heads. You will be changing the lift with a cam so you will need different length pushrods.

Be sure to check piston to valve clearance.
