87 T TOP GT302

I've got the factory heads off my 87 GT and have 93 cobra heads on at present.I'm thinking of having the factory heads ported and bigger valves put in.Other than valve size is there any or much difference in these two heads?Another option is to have the cobra heads worked on by porting the exhaust and bigger valves.Which will be the best?

You can get the E7s to flow decent numbers if you port the hell out of them, but the GT40s are just a better platform to work off. If you're gonna spend money, have the GT40s worked, and not the E7s.. just use them as a boat anchor or something more useful. I believe a company called Thumper (I'm a little behind on my 5.0 stuff) can do good work with E7s, but I think they also do GT40s. Thats where I'd spend my money

if you do anything, port the GT40 iron heads...ported they can flow pretty good!
