Default harmonic balancer

would a little piece of rubber sticking out mean i have a bad balancer already. Cause i dont feel any vibrations at low speeds, the only time i do feel a vibration is when i accel to high rpms and while gaining speed from 3 to 5 or even if im going at a high speed in 5 my car vibrates and vibration stops if i push in clutch could this be the reason why

um its certainly not a good sign ...while the car is running takea look at it .. notice any wobble to it ?? if you do see a wobble id stop driving the car and replace it , if not atleast keep an eye on it daily .. stock ford balancer is like 60 bucks ..definately worth not ruining your engine over .

I honestly wouldnt trust a Parts store balancer. At the least buy a Ford Racing Balancer but if it was me Id skim over the internet and buy yourself a good used 50 oz Romac or similar Balancer.I dont trust stock junk personally.
