Guys,

Last Friday I picked up a fresh 306 shortblock and a set of AFR 165's (part #1404) with the 7/16ths studs, upgraded spring package and a custom ground cam from FlowTech. Today i purchased:
AFR Head Studs
Comp 1.6, 7/16ths stud mount RR's
Comp adjustable double roller timing chain
Comp Hyd roller Lifters
Head gaskets for AFR heads
Full felpro gasket set

I already have:
195LPH fuel pump
Aeromotive AFPR w/ Summit fuel pressure gauge in fuel rail.
MSD 9mm wires
MSD pro bullit dist w/ new cap and rotor
MSD ignition
new oil pan / pickup tube
new Ford Racing high flow oil pump
hardned oil pump shaft
MAC shorty's, MAC off road H and an SLP Loudmouth II catback)
What will be the advantage of getting long tubes vs the shortys i already have??

I know i still need:
Hardned Pushrods (I have a machinist coming to my house this weekend to degree the cam to make me a set of pushrods)
30# Ford Racing injectors
MAF (i have had VERY bad luck with Granatelli, open to all thoughts!! I heard ABACO was good ever heard of it?)
Starter (like to get a mini starter)
Water Pump (Hi flow / Electric??)
Alternator (upgrade to a 200 amp??)
Good set of plugs (What do you recommend?)

Can anyone think of anything else?? I really value your feedback and i want to get all the parts i need FAST!!

shorty headers should be fine, LT'S won't gain you tons, your stock starter should be sufficient, high flow pump or stock replacement should be fine, elec will be expensive and not worth it in your case, a 130 amp alt should be fine unless you have stereo equipment to run...I RUN autolite plugs
