I got an 88 gt. motor has edelbrock upper and lower,cold air intake,24# injectors,gt40 heads,b-303 cam,1.77 rockers,msd 6AL box,msd cap,msd wires,bbk long tubes,off road h,dumped flows.....i think thats it. the problem is that i have a 7k pill in my msd box and when i rev my car out it but it only revs to about 6100 then cuts out. What would cause this? lack of fuel?

you need a rev limiter extender or have it tuned out, stock ecm has built in rev limiter at 6250

Ford Motorsport used to make them, I believe they are discontinued , try ebay

Would my setup be alright to run to 7k? i plan on shifting around 6400-6500 but incase of a missed shift would it be alright to hit the 7k mark?

your car won't make power to 7k, not with the b-cam and reworking valvetrain.

I know that it wont make power to 7k. what im saying is that in a situation where a shift is missed will the motor be alright to hit the 7k mark?

hey I was wondering if it requires any mods when you change from stock injectors to 24lbs like the fuel pump or computer recalibration because I just boght some 24lbs injectors and a b303 cam and a GT-40 intake and I will port my stock heads
