so iim seriously thinking about switching to a carb how does this list sound and what kind of fuel pump do i need? also how does the throttle cable connect to the new carb? o and if anyone has any of these parts lemme know for sale?

RPM Air-Gap (1500 - 6500 RPM)

go to auto parts store and get a throttle cable of like an 85 tell them 4barrel and you wont have to modify yours
as far as carb i would go with 670 over 750 more isnt better if you get the 750 you will accept the fact that it runs rich or end up jetting it down
msd is good stuff but you can get a duraspark 2 distributor from like 85 for 50bucks and stock ign box for 20 then get a cap n rotor
everyone will try to tell you msd is way better but stock is good to 8k rpm and 1/5th the price

oh and if the msd box goes bad which they can and do you cant fix it from a local store you have to order parts
i have a buddy with a 37 ford H/C/I 306 full msd ign with 6al box it broke down on 120 miles from home cuz box went bad
Wouldnt run at all
We went to the nearest parts store and he had to buy 80 bucks worth of stuff we switched distributor and all on the side of road put points back in it to get it home
