Roll Cage for 94 Convertable

Roll Cage for 94 Convertable
Currently I drive a 94 Mustang GT convertable. I'm looking into putting heads, cam, and blower on the car, but i am concerned about having to install a roll cage.
First off, does installing a roll cage render your backseat unusable? If it does is there any way to install a roll cage that doesn't make the back seat useless, such as removable back supports.
thanks in advanced for the help.

you can have the main hoop with removeable seat belt bar. actually now i think of it on my hatch if i still had the seats i could have it back there but i wouldnt want to be there

So then people will be able to sit in the back seat, it just may be a little bit uncomfortable?
*edit*
would an application such as this serve the job?

I'm no fan of putting any roll bar in a vert it defets the purpose.but if your going to the track you'll need one...that one will work..

it should... not many can squeeze in the back seat anyway

LOL...yeah if you can fit people in the back then that is one thing that is amazing....second they are unconfortable to begin with so I don't think the roll bar will make any difference....LOL
Actually the back seat is still usuable as long as you dont get anything more than a 6 point. What you need to check into is how fast you predict your car to run at the strip. If it hits a certain time and under then you need a 4 point roll cage, if it is even faster then you need a 6 point. Getting a 4 point actually looks good in a convertible. It looks like you have a sports bar...just a little more "metal bar" looking.
The rear passangers will still have the same place to sit. They will just have a bar to the outside of them which can be used to lean agaist. Also the front of them will be the bar. See the bar that extends to the top will be behind the front seats so it is in front of the rear passangers.
Sitting there is not a problem. Getting in is the issue. It will be more difficult...and also if there are rear passangers and you get into a frontal collision...they will be hitting something a lot harder than a back of a seat...so make sure they wear their seatbelts....also I don't know what kind of idiot would not wear seatbelts in a open top car.....
If you want a removable rollcage then that is possible too... but again if your car is faster than the rules for the strip, then the cage must be welded and not bolted to the car.
Hope this helps....
Just check your local strip rules and with a prediction of your car, then go from there. Plus the strip will still allow you to run your car if there is no previous record of your time.
Also....I believe that convertibles have a -2 second rule. That means that if a coupe or hatchback needs a rollcage when faster than 10 seconds, then a convertible the rule would be 12 seconds.
