Default Clutch engagement question?

I have a new fire wall adjuster, adjustable cable and quadrant UPR'S. How can I make it so I do not have to put the clutch pedal all the way to the floor for it to disengage. Can you even do this? I would like it disengage about an inch or half inch from the floor..

if you got the UPR quadrant with 3 hooks just keep moving the quadrant on a diff. hook to see where its at...other than that mess with the fire wall adj. as well. If you got a single hook then iam not to sure what you can do.

You need to make the cable tighter. Make the firewall adjuster longer. Use the furthest hook on the quadrant. And or all of those and it will be higher off the floor.
Aim for about half way.

yep i have mine on the last hook and I believe turning the adjuster to the left (bringing it outward) will make it engage further out. dont quote me on which way though...I always forget and I havent done it for a while. She's been sitting all winter
