Default BBK H-Pipe...ugh

So I got my new BBK h from Summit today and was disappointed to find it came in two pieces (comes together at crossover). I went with the BBK instead of the Summit because I knew the Summit was two pieces, and thought the BBK was one.

Any opinions on the two piece design? I am not so sure about it, the way I figure it is just one more opportunity for a leak.

Any thoughts are helpful...Sorry if this has been discussed.

Well it came with a clamp, and I understand why its two pieces, I guess I was more curious if anyone has had trouble with their similar mid pipes. Still have a month or so before I get the car out, so plenty of time to get a different one if I want.

Thanks again.

You will be GLAD its a 2 piece when you go to install it and when you go to Remove it!!I dont recommend Welding it at the H Pipe use a Band clamp to clamp it together.Look at it this way when you decide to remove it,sell it and move onto something else you will just have to remove the clamp and it will fit into a shippable box whereas if you weld it your screwed you will be stuck selling it locally. Not to mention it installs
much easier in 2 pieces....Been there done that.
