typhoon intake
 

Ok...im only asking so many questions because im laid up for a month, im tired of doing classwork and all I wanna do modify my mustang. So I apologize for all the questions but I have alot of time on my hands lol. So obviously Ive been doin alot of thinking and learning about how to add some horses. Well, now Im thinkin of pickin up a typhoon upper and lower intake and now I need to know if that will throw off my set up bc of my speed density equiped stang? Any and all advice is appreciated.:D

id take the money for the intake and spend it on a MAF conversion and get that out of the way if you plan on modifying more in the furture.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus...How much is involved in coverting? Any idea of the cost? Thanks

As far as the intake goes it's a nice copy of the Edelbrock Performer EFI. Not only did they steal edelbrocks design they did a good job on it.

ive read the conversion runs approx 300 dollars. not very involved. wire up the harness. intall the MAF, replace the computer.....thats about it. if you can find a JY donor car im sure you could do it for even less.

if you can get the maf and wires and such from the junkyard probably really cheap. i would defenitely do that before the intake.

the intake is a good piece tho. i ran one for a long time on my sc'd motor and it did very well.
