I run the Victor series water pump on mine. I run them on just about everything but a good NEW NAPA water pump will do just fine on about anything with licence plates. The method to my madness is that sometimes a standard flow pump (in high power high rpm) won't cool the back of the block and heads as well as a high flow pump will do. Now on a small block Ford this is only speculation but I take this experiance from building high power Big Blocks. It wasn't worth the risk to me given the low cost of the water pump and the time spent on my heads.
