Default car wont start!!!!!help

i was driving my car yesterday and i had just left the light and my car just died. it would start back up.
i know its still getting fuel and its trying to crank...
now when we was looking we found the rotor in the distibutor was missing the tip so i replaced it and it ran for about 30 min to a hour and it died again..so we replaced it again and it still didnt work so we went and put a new rotor and cap on and still wont start.
i can use any help much appreciated...this is my only car and it wont start

if you are positive it's not fuel related, could be tfi or stator in dizzy

well i did replace the rotor and cap the second time the car died on me.
i believe the problem is either the coil or the distributor...

what does the module all control. cus am not getting spark from my coil.

If it fired back up when you replaced the rotor with the "Missing tip" I hope you thought to find the missing tip. It's couldn't have gone far. It may have got caught up in the pick up coil and trashed it. The module going out at the same time is not impossible but highly improbible.
